Engineers at Tiptop Audio have been given the Buchla blessing to meticulously research and deconstruct the historic West Coast synthesis modules to be painstakingly and faithfully reproduced, for the first time, in Eurorack-compatible form. As part of their ongoing partnership, Tiptop looked deep within the Buchla vault to bring you the 245t. Like its namesake predecessor, the 245t comprises two independently wired sections: the Pulser and the Stored Voltage Stages. It’s designed to function as an analog memory unit for storing and retrieving control voltages, separated into five sections that are each capable of holding four values, totaling 20 for the 30HP module. CV values are used for the Pulser section to define intervals that can advance the sections and stages of the Stored Voltage section.
